Tuesday’s Tidbits

Mike Huckabee and the Countdown

Mike Huckabee, former 10 year Governor of the State of Arkansas

Today is the day that former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee’ new website is revealed. Mike Huckabee.com has featured a clock counting down to April 15, 2008 – high noon. There is much speculation from a variety of bloggers claiming that the announcement may be anything from a bid for an independent run at the presidency to an official early announcement that Mike will be John McCain’s V.P. choice. One might also speculate that as it is April 15, and federal and state taxes are due, that this website might be a new anti-tax P.A.C. In any event, Mike Huckabee is missed on the campaign trail. As a conservative who saw through the media hype and the total nonsense thrown out by the “conservative” Club for Growth, Mike Huckabee stands for everything that is good about this country. It would take the decimation of the country by an inept and inexperienced president to bring the nation back to the point where the populace is ready for another “Man of the People”. After four years of “Yes we can”, one can only hope there will be a nation left to govern! I really like Mike.

Seriously.

In his continued quest to embarrass the nation, Jimmy Carter (groan) is in the Middle East. How’s that trip going?

Former President Jimmy Carter has been left to his own devices in his latest terrorist hugging foray in the Middle East. This old fool could not comprehend why the Israeli’s might not want to supply him with protection. See article from Israel Today. Did it not occur to this idiot that his anti-Semitic remarks and continual visits with terrorists might not sit well with the Israeli’s?

From Time. Jimmy Carter's Peace Loving People

Speaking of which, despite criticism from governments and his own party, Carter still plans to meet with the exiled Hamas Leader today Article from the International Herald Tribune. Points to consider:
When this man was president he met with the Ayatollah Khomeini while he was exiled in Paris, some, including the Shah of Iran, thought this might not be in anyone’s best interest, but, Carter went ahead, and well, the outcome is a nuclear Iran. How can he explain his continued fascination and support for terrorists – all in the name of the American people? A former president, like it or not, is seen as an elder statesman globally, which might explain why the world views us so unfavorably. Carter and his ilk (former vice presidents, etc.), have been rampaging about America’s shortcomings amongst our enemies for quite some time. I propose commitment – to a long-term care facility.
