The Democrats - Suddenly Experience Matters? John Kerry and Barrack Obama

In the past several days, the press has focused on John Kerry’s importance due to Kennedy’s illness and the fact that he has senatorial experience, is given as a reason for his qualification. Hold the presses! John Kerry may be seen nationally as some sort of wonder boy, however, how many voters in Massachusetts actually like John Kerry? How much legislation has he penned in 24 years on the job? How often has he stepped foot in Massachusetts? How many times have the voters been given a choice? Why on earth should Kerry be re-elected if the criteria set by the press and the National Democrat Party is “experience?

Kerry is simply stated – looked upon as somewhat of a buffoon in his home state, and that sentiment now cross party lines. This will not be a slam-dunk. The largest block of voters, over 50%, are Unenrolled, aligning themselves with neither party. Both major parties have lost enrollment (almost equal numbers) based on the 2008 primary (visit Galvin’s website), and, although not the GOP’s first choice, Beatty is a credible candidate, with the necessary education and background, who also has generous grassroots support (among both Republicans as well as independents (The later being the key to the state). With Kerry thumbing his nose at his constituents (those that voted for Clinton in the primary), using the progressive mind-think that one knows better than the masses and they will all follow the “leader’ as a given, will come back to haunt him in November. Clinton voters are not just temporarily bereaved, they are now vengeful – one can use the term – biblical. Beatty on the other hand, little know, as noted in the press, on a daily basis (which can be seen as getting one’s name out there, any press is good press), should not be dismissed out hand.

The argument that the Bay State now needs Kerry’s senatorial “experience” in light of Kennedy’s illness runs counter to that party’s national claim that “experience” doesn’t matter when it comes to a much higher office – (see Obama) – further inflaming and confusing those steadfast Democrat voters that make up approximately 30% of the Massachusetts electorate. If Vegas were giving odds on this race, the best bet would be on the press-perceived long-shot – Beatty. This will be the race to watch.

The only thing John Kerry is experienced at is taking up air, being unpatriotic and of course applying self tanner. Its time to take Massachusetts back from the liberal figureheads like Kennedy and Kerry who have made our state the joke of the entire nation. I urge the citizens of Massachusetts and everyone around the country to head on over to Jeff Beatty's website. Make a donation, volunteer your time, do whatever it takes to help put John Kerry out to pasture!!

Basically I view John Kerry as someone walking in the same shoes as Jimmy Carter. I will never forget, nor should you, Kerry referring to America as an international pariah while he was at the World Economic Forum in Davos back in 2007. He was on a panel with the former president of the terror state of Iran, Mohammed Khatami, and this is basically what he said:

“ Americans have an unfortunate habit of seeing the world and other people exclusively through an American lens … and judging their aspirations ... through that lens. We have a crisis of confidence in the Middle East, in the world, really. I've never seen our country as isolated as much of a set of international pariah for a number of reasons as it is today. We should be less engaged in this neocon rhetoric of regime change and more involved in building relationships and living up to our own values so that people make a different judgment about us. ”

There is so much psychologically wrong with this … well, factually wrong and psychologically dangerous … and very troubling. "We should be less engaged in neocon rhetoric of regime change and more along the lines of building relationships?" You know, the main argument that I, and people have on the right, have with what we're doing in Iraq is we're spending too much time building relationships. We're spending too much time building up a relationship rather than kicking the butt of the enemy, which is what the American people want. "Living up to our own values? Seeing everything through an American lens?" Well Senator Kerry … let me enlighten you that living up to our own values, you would have to support what Bush is doing. Our own values are freedom, republican democracy and exactly what we are trying to put together in Iraq.

It is precisely this mind set which has led us to one of our darkest days as a country. Yesterday, June 12, 2008, America took a gigantic step backwards. I’m still trying to come to grips this morning with the news that Criminal of War Terrorists now have the exact same rights as me, and all Americans, when it comes to a fair trial.

I urge every red blooded American to think about that for a moment … think real hard … and then get started sending messages to those in power that these kind of atrocities are unacceptable.

And you can start by voting John Kerry out of office.
