Canada and Gun Control – Lessons Taken Away
Canada has some of the strictest gun control laws on the continent, and yet they are left wondering where the prior felon turned radical Islamic Jihadist got his hands on a gun – the general consensus – illegally (CBA.CA)
Understanding that any time there is a shooting in Springfield, MA (it appears every day) one might also hazard to guess than gangs, and criminals committing these crimes are not purchasing firearms legally. To this mind, although not a huge proponent of those armed to the teeth, having a firearm, especially in a large urban area, may be the way to go. This is especially true when, today, both Canada and the US are apparently engaging in urban warfare against those that would convert without mercy. The whole point is conversion and or annihilation of the unbeliever, regardless of age, gender or military service.
That said, the Canadians appear to have a much milder temperament than those crazy people south of their border (US), and are more sensitive to natures of the murderous type. Therefore, not immune due to daily gang shootings, or random acts of violence seen on the streets in the U.S. daily, this is quiet a conundrum.
These are the times when you might find pro or anti gun activist out battling for a piece of the sympathy pie, however, in each instance on has to understand that an individual who takes a life is not mentally stable – and that extends to those involved in the cult of Islam. They have, to this mind, taken the orders of their one time general turned profit and holy man, Mohammed literally. It is, therefore, a mental illness when an individual believes they will receive 72 virgins in exchange for murder or suicide. That hinges on the biblical warnings of an anti-Christ – one who has been long dead, but his precepts continue to invade other countries, convert by means of force or, worse, in times of emotional stress under the guise of religion.
Therefore, one either arms themselves, or understands that this type of happenstance, be it a mall, an official building or other outing, is bound to happen in both nations. Get a gun, a dog, a can of beans (16 oz), or anything that one thinks they can disable a crazy flipping person with – frankly, the can of heavy metal would suffice, and most likely send them to their intended brides early.
Gun Laws don’t work, because criminals find ways to exploit gun laws, or buy a hatchet or machete and murder infidels anyhow.
Oh yes, and most definitely not politically correct.

MA - On Edge - Questions Remain After Possible Terrorism - Water Supply Breached at Quabbin Reservoir.

The Quabbin - map depicts exactly how vast this "protected" areas is - leaves food for thought - image custompro.com
Yesterday, after midnight 7 individuals from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore were found at the Quabbin Reservoir (which supplies water to Boston, and Western Mass. cities), the State’s labs deemed the water “safe” at approximately - 11:00 AM (Masslive). The incident has left residents a bit concerned given the fact that the individuals caught at the Quabbin Reservoir were in a restricted area, after midnight, noted they were there as “recent college graduates, who were chemical engineers”, and it was in the interest of their careers. The word “fishy” is being used a great deal in response to the incident.
Local NBS Affiliate WWLP reported that local residents had concerns:
Since 9/11, cars are restricted on the roads through the Quabbin. Frequent visitors George and Elizabeth Banas of Belchertown told 22News they're concerned there may be even tighter security at the Quabbin.
George told 22News, “You could drive everywhere on your bike or walk, that's it. They blocked everything off, you know.”
“When you get a report like that, kind of alludes to something may have happened, is a potential target for terrorists, then you stop and think about it,” said Elizabeth Banas.
And when George Fuller of Ware first heard the 22News report about the seven alleged trespassers, something ominous went through his mind.
“The fact that they wanted redemption for Boston, I thought someone wanted to get back at us for what happened in Boston, what we did to the two that we caught,” said Fuller. “It's the first thing I thought of.”
There are concerns, since the group of individuals reasoning may not add up – the first thought might be that they were doing a “recon” or checking for ease of access to the Reservoir for a future date.
The claimed to be recent college graduates, yet there are no local area colleges (Massachusetts Universities) that have yet graduated – commencements are this coming week. Therefore, recent may have meant last year. Are there student visa’s still valid?
When police ran their names through Interpol, et. al – did they understand that the brothers who bombed the Boston Marathon also did not show up on any lists – one did, but due to a misspelling of the name, was missed – add to that that there was zero information sharing between agencies, and the MA FBI had no clue Russia, and Saudi Arabia had warned the U.S. about those two in particular a year or more prior to the bombing.
There is no mention of further investigation, rather putting extra emphasis on watching the water supplies around the state – just in case.
Understanding that this occurred Tuesday at midnight, had the group dropped a chemical into the drinking water, the “speed” with which the public was notified would have left 1950’s civil security volunteers a bit embarrassed. It is not so much the fact that it takes some time to test several million gallons of drinking water for problems – it is the fact that the only notice made available to the public was newscasts. Given the fact that newscasts are not reaching a large percentage of the population, knowing a major water supply was breached, without immediately knowing (13 hours later) that the water was “safe to drink”, left those that get their drinking water from Quabbin exposed had there been any biological or chemical threats to the water supply.
On the one hand it is a matter of panicking a lot of people if nothing might be wrong, while on the other hand not panicking a lot of people and having more than a few funerals should there have been something lethal placed in the water supply.
Do we lack confidence in the police? By no means, it is the general bureaucracy that has shown to be less than efficient as a whole, especially in Massachusetts (which one might consider a mini-Washington).
Given the era in which we live, with a proclivity for those visiting this nation from certain radical and violent areas, who might just want to blow up people enjoying a day at the marathon or kill half the state by poising their water supply, and the reaction of some individuals who feel that we are somehow to blame for future attacks after having caught, incarcerated and killed the two Boston Bombers, is politically correct, yet plausible. To recap:
Massachusetts recent attack may have residents on edge.
A major water supply was breached at midnight by individuals from nations who are known to export terrorism. Those individuals suggest they are recent students, yet there are no graduations scheduled at the time, there is no adequate civil defense in place to warn residents of any hazards in a timely fashion. Were these individuals here on valid or expired visas? Were they a decoy or on reconnaissance? In other words, checking access to the supply, making a dry run to see how long it would take to get in and out of such an area in order to practice Jihad in masse?

Obama Radio Address – Look away from the Protest Images! Don’t be Dismayed – U.S. Flag burning in 21 Nations - Obama – Damage Control.

Anti-U.S. Sentiment Grows - Burning of U.S. Flag - Image: theerant.yuka.com AFP
From: AisiaOne (Singapore) via the AFP, In President Obama’s weekly address to the nation:
US President Barack Obama urged Americans Saturday not to be disheartened by images of anti-American violence in the Islamic world, expressing confidence that the ideals of freedom America stands for will ultimately prevail.
"I know the images on our televisions are disturbing," Obama said in his weekly radio and Internet address. "But let us never forget that for every angry mob, there are millions who yearn for the freedom, and dignity, and hope that our flag represents."
Of course, with cable TV News channels available in almost every household in the U.S. that may be a bit of a stretch, including the fact that it is disheartening with not one, but 21 nations are up in arms, attacking not only U.S. interests (embassies), but also German Embassies (Reuters). One has to ask what the Germans did; other than not adhere to the principles of Radical Islam and the desire of the proponents of said “religion” wishing to take over the world. Apparently, it is not only the U.S. that is maligned but the West itself (or any nation not under Islamic rule). The fact that the White House and the U.S. Press continues the narrative of blaming a simple (and badly produced) video that insults “Mohammed” is beyond comprehension of anyone with a pulse. Understanding that radicals spring from any religion and that they do not represent the “norm” (in most cases), historically, there was no film available when the radical Ayatollah, in response to President Carters offer of Peace, promptly stormed the U.S. Embassy, killed diplomats, kidnapped the balance and held them hostage until the day Reagan was inaugurated in January of 1981. Said hostages were immediately released as they eyed a strong leader rather than a paper tiger.
To suggest that reason will prevail and that the U.S. population should not be concerned about violence targeting the U.S. in 21 countries around the world, spreading from the Middle East to Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Europe., (Whiz-bang) is a bit of a stretch as the Administration/Campaign is finding damage control difficult.
The fact that the short narrative insulting Mohammed was produced by a Coptic Christian (Washington Post)should also be considered more relevant than the film itself – because the Coptic Christians in Egypt have enjoyed terrorism, murder and more since the Obama administration backed Muslim Brotherhood government took over. (See Egypts-Coptic-Christians Mark Christmas in Fear” . Not a peep out of the White House or U.S. news that Christians are being murdered in nations that adhere to the Religion of Peace.
The Presidents suggestion that images of attacks against the U.S. be ignored by the U.S. population, especially since the WH narrative continues to employ the “film” excuse is not going to fly. In the politically correct world of the elites, yes, it may, but in the real world of every day American’s many of whom are Christian of one sect or another – the fact that riots, and flag burning don’t take place every time the Pope or a Minister or church leader or “Holy Image” is lampooned, is not lost on, for lack of a better word, sane population. There are comparisons to be made between eh civilized Western World and the Insanity of the nations to which the President wishes to engage in a dialogue of peace!
It’s a lovely thought, however, as much as one would love to see world peace, President Obama is not Miss America – and should, by virtue of education, know better. Ideologically speaking, it is a wonderful idea that is grounded in the very Christian concept that when one treats others as they themselves want to be treated, all will be well. Normally the case, unless of course, the group one is treating with respect, harbors a centuries old desire to convert or kill, and then control the property upon which one resides.
One suggestion that might have improved the situation immediately: Pull foreign aid from nations who aren’t getting the message, (obviously not England, or other European Nations, nor Israel, where these “protestors” (marauding hordes is more appropriate), are happily burning the U.S. flag and replacing said flag with the Flag of Islam.
Or perhaps ones might remove the rose colored glasses, actually read the intelligence briefs, and go “Forward” from said White House with more confidence (not apparent in the last week), and a bit more “chutzpah” (Perhaps he should actually meet more frequently with Benjamin Netanyahu). Although yes, the military (ships and marines) have been deployed to the area, it has been done without a confident threat to those who would harm American’s abroad, or for that matter, one who does not read intelligent briefs due to a scheduling conflict with a reelection campaign, may not understand that the rash of hysteria across U.S. Campuses yesterday due to bomb scares might have something to do with those “images” of the U.S. Flag being burned by radical Islamist in 21 countries.
The statement to the American Public made by an Administration in Damage Control was inherently weak and does nothing to instill confidence, either at home or aboard.

The Separation of Church and State – Ground Zero Planned Mosque vs. Greek Orthodox Church Destroyed on Site - Analysis
Wars fought in the name of religion, including the Muslim Conquest of Spain 711 AD - photo blog Paradoxplace.com
The AP reports today on a Greek Orthodox Church that was destroyed on September 11, with the World Trade Center – the plight of the Church has gone unnoticed in the wake of the brouhaha over the planned Islamic Community Center (mosque) on the Ground Zero site. The fact that both religious institutions have lacked funding in order to rebuild is not the point – the fact that government is involved at all in a religious institution, regardless of the faith, is mind-boggling. One has to ask, where are the cries of separation of Church and State that are screamed from the rooftops and result in schools barring the singing of Christmas Carols or municipalities ban the placement of a Christian crèche on public property?
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander applies in regards to this situation. The fact that individuals oppose a mosque being built on a site where, due to an ongoing religious war between Muslims and Infidels, a holy war, or crusade, resulted in the deaths of thousands of people (United States citizens as well as men and women from nations around the globe) on that site might be understandable. Reasonably, so-called “Holy Wars” have been responsible for the deaths of millions over time: the Crusades, the Muslim Conquest of Northern Africa and the Mediterranean (Southern Spain), to the war between Irish Protestants and Catholics. These major religions and denominations within a major religion caused wars, the outcome of which resulted in deaths of innocents - what is, more or less, anti-religious, given the fact that these religion promotes peace.
It is what it is, and for politicians and the State (Federal or State) to involve itself in the 1st amendment rights of any religion, be it in support or in opposition, should, logic follows, be against the nations rule of law. That said, property laws involving any real estate owned by a religious group, be it a Christian denominations church, a Jewish Synagogue, Hindu Temple, or Mosque should be adhered to in any case.
The fact that the proposed mosque would promote understanding does not hold water – the fact that the property is owned by SoHo properties, a company, which, according to almuslim.com was purchased and the building of said “community center” was approved by a New York zoning committee post September 11th, does. Therefore, if the property developers don’t have the funding, then the mosque cannot be built, nor for that matter, can the Greek Orthodox Church which was destroyed in the same general area in the name of the Muslim faith.
The question as to morality or to sensitivity towards ones neighbors is another issue entirely and, given the patterns associated with said religion, it is doubtful that sensitivity towards ones neighbors will prevail. It will be money that talks in both cases, and should the funding come forward from sources that are legally permitted by the United States Government (issues with funds from Terrorist States aside), both buildings would go forward – if not, then it is not the business of the government, or its officials to support or oppose or aid in the funding of either property.
Therefore, if this project is supported by State officials, then any and all religious holidays and themes associated, be it on private or public property, should be allowed. This includes prayer at schools, the placing of a Christian Crèche on public property during Christmas, or any other symbol of a religion practiced within the boundaries of this United States. The arguments both pro and con, therefore, are about tolerance in the end, the lack of tolerance shown towards Christians, Jews and, yes Muslims, and said religions being used as nothing more than “political” statements by those who personally profit, especially elected officials and members of the press.
